Michèle Sennesael is a freelance photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. 

Michèle witnessed her first birth in Brooklyn, New York. Pamela brought her son in to the world surrounded by her husband & daughter, a midwife, a doula. The photos captured that day not only documented her long natural labor, but it gave her a way to process such a life-changing event in a way that nothing else could. 

After this experience, Michèle experienced a major change of direction in her business. In 2016 she switched her focus to the miracle of birth and documented births in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Peru.
